What sort of people do you place? As specialist recruiters in creative and marketing communications we place artworkers, designers (print, exhibitions & events, digital), account handlers, production managers, project managers, event managers & producers, and business developers from 12 months experience to director level.
What sort of companies do you recruit for? Mainly agency side - traditional design studios, integrated design and marketing agencies, exhibition & event design, production and project management companies and digital agencies.
Do you place trainees or new graduates? Regretfully, no. The companies/agencies we recruit for tend to recruit trainees and graduates directly. We are only briefed on vacancies requiring a minimum of 12 months experience.
What do you charge? We only charge a fee if you employ someone we introduce. We charge less than most recruiters. We also work for many smaller companies, that tend not to use recruiters due to high fees, by arriving at an acceptable for both of us. Contact us if you would like to know more.
Is there any cost to job seekers? None whatsoever.
How do I register my CV and what happens when you receive it? You can email your CV to us or use the online form. It will be uploaded to our database and we will email you with details of vacancies. Unless you have given us permission to do so, we will not submit your CV to any vacancy without getting your OK.
How do I register a vacancy? You can email us the details, or telephone 01753 731713, or submit a vacancy through this site. Please provide the following details: your, telephone number, email address and company website address (these will not appear in any advertising we do); the vacancy title, location, salary guide and any benefits your company offers; the essential, preferable and nice to have skills and experience.
How and where do you find job seekers? We manage a candidate database, which is constantly being updated with new job seekers. We find new job seekers through on line job boards, trade press and, occasionally, local advertising. Job seekers also find the CCRecruit website on search engines. By far however, we most often find job seekers as a result of somebody recommending a job seeker to us, or one of our contacts giving us a referral.
How do you decide which candidates to submit to an employer? We first conduct a paper matching exercise between the CV and job spec. If there is a match we contact them to establish if they are still looking. The candidate is screened against the vacancy - right background? Enough experience? Skills and strengths? Right 'person' fit? Salary match? Right location? If they tick enough boxes we fully brief them on the role and company and ensure that they want to go forward? Tell us who you want to see and when and we will do the rest. Occasionally a candidate may be on the edge of what a company is looking for but we may send their details anyway if we detect they may add relevant value.
